About On-Campus Interviews

Interviews Graphic Each quarter, dozens of companies come to the UC Davis campus to interview students. Some companies are seeking students for entry-level career positions, in which case only students who plan to graduate within the academic year should apply. Other companies may interview on campus for internships or co-ops.

Please be aware that many companies that are actively hiring do not choose to conduct on campus interviews. Always check the Aggie Job Link database, attend career fairs, and pursue other job hunting activities in addition to interviewing on campus.

 

Interview Schedules

Schedule Graphic These schedules are for companies who are interviewing on campus but are not going through Aggietraks. These are usually smaller companies or companies who have immediate job openings to fill.

Remember to check Aggie Job Link for a more complete listing of interview and job opportunities.

Note that there are both open and closed schedules, described below:

  • Open Schedules: Open schedules mean that the employer will interview all interested candidates that they can accommodate on the given interview date. They do not prescreen resumes. To interview with a company, note the beginning sign up date and come to 210 or 207 South Hall to sign up for an interview any time after 9 am on the 'Sign Up Date'.

  • Closed Schedules: Closed schedules mean that the employer will prescreen resumes in order to find candidates that meet particular skill and qualification requirements. Bring a resume in addition to any materials specified in the 'Notes' section to room 210 or 207 South Hall before 12 pm the 'Materials Due' date. Then check back on the date listed under 'Selection Date' to see if you were chosen for an interview.
